The Story behind Steve

Steve’s love of creative movement began at a young age. She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t enrolled in some form of dance.

Believing, as many artists do, that her time exploring playful movement was over when childhood ended; Steve went to college. Much of how she approaches life is informed by these 5ish years of education in western psychology.

But alas, her heart did not live in the rigid structure of academia.

Several years Steve was adrift with little direction. That is until one fateful day in 2014 she experienced sympathetic joy like none other watching another human dance and play with a hula-hoop. Thus began her love affair with plastic circles. Finally, after years of trying, and failing, and trying again, Steve thought to herself, “maybe I could do this professionally...?”

And the rest is history.
